Bön med lyfta händer är ej nog,
lantman, då du ber för jordens gröda
Bed med handen på din plog!
Då välsignar bönens kraft din möda.
Prayer with hands raised high is not enough,
farmer, when you pray for earthly harvest.
Pray with hands upon your plow!
Then the power of prayer will bless your struggle
