Seth and Marit Awes of Chicago welcomed their little Viking, Gustaf Seth Johnson Awes, on Feb. 2, 2012. Gus was named after his great great grandfather, Gustaf F. Johnson.

The Hawkinson family had extra reason to be thankful this past fall as they received a new granddaughter on the day after Thanksgiving. Kjarsten Lynn was born to Karl and Jamie Hawkinson, granddaughter to David and Susan Hawkinson, and great granddaughter to Les and Doris Lindburg. (Note the innate piety in this picture!)

Felix Addison Blomgren, young pietist, entered this world in the end of November at the happy weight of 6lbs 14oz – he now weighs what his Big Sister did at a year. But make no mistake, Felix is a sensitive, gentle soul; his Big Sister, of course, is as tough as they come.
