News and Notes
Faithful Pietisten supporter and senior medical contributor for ABC News, Dr. Tim Johnson, is heading up an extensive capital Campaign for North Park University in Chicago. Together with fellow North Parker David Helwig, the two are leading an effort to raise funds for, among other initiatives, the construction of a Science and Community Life Building. This center will house state-of-the-art facilities for North Park’s nursing program and science laboratories. To learn how you can support this effort, visit www.northpark.edu/campaign.
Covenant Point Bible Camp in Iron River, Mich., has kicked off its Chuck Frasier Memorial Campaign, a 5-year capital campaign to raise funds that will endow the successful internship program started by the late Chuck Frasier, as well as build a new home on site for its growing staff.
