Little Signe Tessera Blomgren has brightened the city of Seattle. She came one month early. She was born on October 18 at 9:30 p.m. at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.
This tiny, unmistakable sign of victory, as in the meaning of her name, flashed onto the scene at 36 weeks. She weighed in at 3 lbs. 8 oz., and was 16 inches long. She got off to a running start while the rest of the kids her age were still layabouts.
Hans Erik and Stephanie are very happy. So are grandparents: Bob and Alice Blomgren of Vashon Island and John and Fern Johnson of Olympia, Washington.
Jia Sundell-Turner arrived on the scene on July 17. His happy parents are Tj and Nancy Sundell-Turner of Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Grandpa Rob and Grandma Gwyneth Sundell are very pleased with their latest grandchild, Jia.
Greta Louise Christiansen joined us on September 18 and is finding her place along side her brothers Arne and Finn and sister, Signe. Greta brings gender balance to the Christiansen family of Minneapolis much to Sara’s and Blake’s satisfaction. “She’s really cute,” says mom.
Steven Randolph III looks like a delighted linebacker, ready and eager to make the tackle. The Washington Huskies should start recruiting him now. His mom, Kelly, and dad, Steve, are happy with their little guy whether he makes the tackle or not. It’s the same for grandparents, Jerry and Paula Stone and great grandmother, Adele Stone of Longview, Washington.
