Matthew Lindahl CCIW Golf Runner-up
Matt Lindahl, North Park Sophomore and grand-nephew of North Park Philosophy Professor Emeritus and former NP tennis coach, Elder Lindahl, took second place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) golf tournament. Matt is another of the Lindahls from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan who have contributed greatly to North Park through the years.
Meanwhile, Anne Lindahl of the Libertyville, Illinois Lindahls and her NP rowing teammates took a Gold Medal in the Great Plains Rowing Championships in Topeka, Kansas.
Richard Heuer Dies
Dick Heuer, pound-for-pound one of the toughest football players who ever lived, died this Winter. Dick grew up in Chicago and played end for the North Park Vikings during the late 1950s. He was a team player who delivered the goods each game without touting his own accomplishments. Those who knew him will miss him and remember him with respect and affection.
Katie Schoenrock and Eric Husband Exchange Vows, Depart on Vespa
June 21, 2003. To the delight of well-wishers, Katie and Eric hopped on their Vespa and headed for the Mississippi River and their reception. Katie is a graduate of Bethlehem Covenant Sunday School, Minneapolis, and Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota.
