Vinaigrette for Marinating Vegetables
For the Church
4 gal. (32 cups) sugar
3 gal. (28 cups) vinegar
1 cup celery seed
1 cup mustard seed
For the Family
1 3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp mustard seed
Mix together and bring to a boil. Cool and use to marinate any vegetable. It keeps very well in the refrigerator.
