Kids Play
The kids playing by the low ocean side
They play a game of tag in the warming sand
They really like to play the game called “hide
and seek,” One youngun hides in barren land
Some playing football, soccer, and baseball
Some choose instead to play board games, or cards
Kids like to run, they run down the long hall
They squeal while working off their baby lard
Kids always growing bigger, never small
The kids like dreaming of their future, so
We must all realize kids, short and tall
Are our whole future, let them live through snow
And rain and sun, and lots of yearly fun
The kids will always play and always run
