Tranströmer, Tomas

Tomas Tranströmer (1931–2015) was a Swedish poet and psychologist. His poems feature the beauty of nature and the seasons, as well as the wonder and mystery of everyday life. Often regarded as one of the most important Scandinavian writers in the latter 20th century, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2011.
